The Pagosa Fire Protection District has worked very diligently to offer residents professional fire protection and the opportunity of having a quality Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating.
Currently, PFPD fire stations within the Pagosa Springs Core Area have been rated by ISO as a Class 3/10. PFPD fire station 7 in the Chromo area has been rated by ISO as a Class 6/10.
By the guidelines and standards used by ISO standards, these ratings will benefit ALL residents who live within 5-driving miles from a PFPD fire station. To achieve this remarkable rating, PFPD was audited by ISO in multiple ways — please download the PDF files below for complete information.
